How to Repair a Relationship | What Every Man Wants (but almost no Woman Gives)

I love to watch lovers relating to one another.  Love relationships are played out in movie themes, plays, music and current events on the news. So much so, that many of us have distorted views of what a romantic relationship is and unrealistic expectations of how to love one another.

As we watch with curiosity and amazement—the tendency is to judge our own personal relationships from these highly visible encounters.  There is no way to know why these relationships didn’t work. Where is the help on how to repair a relationship?

On more than one occasion I have found myself commenting about someone’s relationship:

  • “I don’t know why Janice and Bobby ever got married, they are total opposites. He’s outgoing and she’s dull and lifeless.
  • On the other hand, I went to Tanya and John’s wedding– they were a beautiful couple and seemed so in love.  Didn’t last 2 years.
  • But I must say the real shocker wasNancy and Tom—married 35 years.  Now, if you stay together that long—why would you be getting a divorce?

I should be shocked at some of these lost relationships. But again, I wonder how to repair a relationship—is there a tool to help couples create the relationship they desire?

As President of www.OneStopLegalSolution.com , a legal document preparation company, I know the stories of countless women seeking a divorce. We prepare divorce documents and I hear the stories of infidelity, loneliness and unhappiness. Many of these women express a desire to live passionately and vibrantly—right now, with the right person.

Out of all the divorces we’ve prepared, I heard similar statements:

  • I’d rather be married
  • I still love him but I don’t know how to make it work
  • I wish I knew how to get his attention—I want to feel loved.

If you desire to experience passionate and vibrant love relations with your current spouse, boyfriend–or you want to prepare for a new relationship—I found a tool that can help you enhance or create change in your relationships. I think you’ll discover how to repair a relationship and get the love you desire.

If your man is not communicating, ignoring you or just doesn’t seem to care—you need to take action—NOW!

What to Know About Late Ovulation

Ovulation

Lots of women are in tune with their menstrual cycle schedules. They know when they’re coming just like they would their birthdays. Some of them will experience a more regular scheduler compared to others and will go through ‘late ovulation’. And because this is tied to their period, they will see it more quickly compared to some others.
For the pre-menopausal women their main worry in regard to late ovulation is the possibility of getting pregnant. However, late ovulation can be caused by several things which we will discuss in more detail below.
Breast-feeding:
Breast-feeding can be one of the common causes of late ovulation. This is particularly true during the first six months. It may cause some serious shifts in the woman’s hormones and body. A few mothers who are breast-feeding might experience various ovulation problems at times like these. There are certain women who will not ovulate whatsoever and only experience it during times of breast-feeding.
Hormonal Shifts:
Too Much or Too Little Body Fat – How much body fat women have on their bodies has an impact on their levels of estrogen. Having too little fat or too much of it may cause late ovulation to occur. Too little body fat is most likely to be the culprit than too much. This is due to the fact that for maintaining their levels of estrogen production, a woman’s body might require a specific amount of fat. Having fat levels that are inappropriate may cause other types of health issues as well. It is crucial that these fat levels are controlled and a healthy weight is maintained.
Medications – A lot of prescription medications come with adverse side effects that can really upset the delicate hormonal chemistry in a woman. One of the results could be ‘late ovulation’. Drugs used for cancer treatment are the type that can cause ovulation shifts. Women who take steroid hormone treatments can experience side effects too. Some women who have to take prescribed medications to treat a mental illness such as psychosis or depression can see their hormone levels altered as well.
Hormonal Shifts – Hormonal shifts are quite common and can lead to late ovulation. In order for a normal ovulation cycle to take place, a woman’s body must produce the proper amount of hormones and have them released at the right intervals. Anytime this schedule changes a woman can experience shifts in ovulation. There can be many reasons for these hormone shifts like stress and over-exertion. Whatever cause it the hormonal shifts are many times the exact cause of having late ovulation.
Many women go through times of late ovulation at some time in their lives. It your experience was just once or if you only suffer an occasional occurrence, then there may not be any need for serious concern or health risks. But the experts do recommend that you consult with an experienced OBGYN if late ovulation repeats itself often. A woman can go through life and experience late ovulation and never face anything that is serious. But it is always best to err on the side of caution. Consult a doctor whenever late ovulation causes you to feel concerned.

How to Create a Funding Plan for Your Organization – For Dummies

1 of 9 in Series: The Essentials of Finding and Applying for a Grant

Laying out a funding development plan is the first step to becoming proactive in grant seeking and grant writing. Both non-profit and for-profits organizations can benefit from a good plan for getting funding. Here are the parts of an all-purpose funding development plan:

Mission statement: A mission statement tells funders your purpose or vision for being a structured nonprofit or for-profit organization. The mission statement should include the name of your organization, its structural status (nonprofit or for-profit), the year it was formed, and its purpose (reason for organization).

Make this statement clear and impactful, reflecting your vision. If you already have a mission statement, maybe it creates more confusion than clarity. Take a long look at your existing mission statement and ask yourself whether you need to rewrite that statement.

Assessment of funding needs: What programs and services do you want to offer? Where is the funding coming from — internal or external sources? Ask and answer questions about your organization’s financial strengths, as well as its financial weaknesses. Also, consider what funding opportunities are available to your organization and what threats to funding your organization faces.

Funding goals: How much money do you need to raise from external funding sources for each program or service?

Your goals should be global and futuristic; they should describe where you want to be when the grant money runs out.

Funding objectives: What benchmarks do you want to set to assure that you reach these funding goals?

Your goals can’t stand alone. You’ll never accomplish anything if your goals aren’t supported by objectives. Objectives act as benchmarks or reference points; they’re measurable steps that must be taken in order to achieve your goals. And every goal must have at least one objective.

Action plan: What are the annual tasks, over three to five years, that must be completed in order to make your funding development plan a reality?

In the action plan part of your organization’s funding development plan, you need to sort your funding needs into categories of for each program or service that needs external funding or grant monies.

Monitoring and evaluation of funding objectives: How can your organization track and prove that the project’s measurable objectives were met and at what levels? What are your evaluation tools?

You need to determine how your organization will track and evaluate your funding plan’s objectives. In this part of the funding development plan, make sure to mention who’ll conduct the monitoring and evaluation activities and who’ll see or review the evaluation findings or reports.

After you write your funding development plan, stick to it. Before writing any grant requests, first make sure that the grant fits into your plan. Be organized, stay focused, and follow your funding plan’s road map to success and stability.

Is Learning the Key to Life-Long Satisfaction?

Do you subscribe to ‘word of the day’ emails? Have you ever taken a pottery, computer, or foreign language class? Most of us have because we are curious about the world and enjoy learning new tasks.

Often, taking up a new hobby is on our yearly list of resolutions or an item on our “bucket lists” and takes a place among the things we want to do before we pass from this world.

Though consciously we undertake these challenges because we enjoy them, these choices may also reflect subconscious desires.

Community

If you’re taking classes within your community, the course is probably an expression of your desire to connect with other individuals with whom you share common ground. You live in the same place and have similar interests, so you are likely to make lasting friendships. The more friendships are formed, the more close-knit a community becomes. It also combats isolation, which is particularly common for older people who, through bereavement or retirement, mix less with members of the community than they used to.

Adult learning is usually hosted by a local educational institution or publicly funded service for good reasons. First, offering adult learning demonstrates a school’s acknowledgement that learning is meant to be a life-long activity. Likewise, the supportive grants they receive from the government indicate a commitment to encouraging a sense of community and the betterment of its residents.

This makes a nice circle of altruism, because it turns out that a need for self-improvement can actually be interpreted as being quite selfless.  Studies have shown that self-improvement courses lead to stronger community leadership.  Adult learning fosters a sense of empowerment, which can raise confidence and breed leadership. This leadership in turn translates to taking a strong role in a community, and an ability to stand up and have a voice when it is required.

Take, for instance, the example of a large multi-national conglomerate is building a new supermarket on an abandoned site at the edge of a medium-sized town. While the building would be improving that particular empty square of land, perhaps, it would endanger smaller, locally-run establishments that have been operating for decades and passed down from generation to generation. There need to be leaders in this community, perhaps to produce flyers, spread information via the Internet, or to stand up at a town meeting and speak for the people of that community.

Adult learning makes us better neighbors and parents and, above all, happier people.

Gaining Skills for a Better Future

We learn from an early age that we need education to get us further in life. One of the most valuable gifts teachers of children can give is a love of learning. Their task is a difficult one at times, but luckily for teachers and parents, human bodies have an innate system of learning appreciation.

When we learn, i.e. gain new information or are able to perform a new skill, the please centers of our brains react. Endorphins are released by the nervous system, which we interpret as being happy or content. The release is a subtle one, perhaps as much as eating a piece of chocolate or kissing a loved one or perhaps even less than that, but it is there. Once the new information is assimilated into what we know and become old information, the mind needs new information. Education scholar K. Patricia Cross said: “Learning is not so much an additive process, with new learning simply piling up on top of existing knowledge, as it is an active, dynamic process in which the connections are constantly changing and the structure reformatted.” When our brains are not being changed and reformatted, as stated by Cross, then we need a new piece of information to stimulate our endorphins. In this respect, we are all information junkies to some extent, using learning to make us more happier bit by bit.

Learning a foreign language over years may help a person to eventually take that trip around the world that she/he has been dreaming of, and perhaps joyfully send parcels to USA friends back home. Over time learning may also encourage someone to seek out new forms of employment, leading to overall improvement in our lives. Thus, we should feel proud of ourselves for taking on a new course, no matter what period in our lives we do it. The benefits of our labor will be felt for a long time.
