A supermarket’s pet food aisle in Brooklyn, New York (Photo credit: Wikipedia. The average familyís grocery bill is usually one of the higher numbers on the family budget. There can be an enormous difference in what each family spends on their groceries, depending on many factors, such as whether they buy name brand, more meat, etc.

The good news is that this allows for a large amount of savings if we decide to be frugal with our shopping. Following a few simple tips will have you well on your way to saving a few bucks.

1.) Make a meal plan. You’ll know exactly what you need from the store before you go.

2.) Watch for specials and coupons in store newsletters, and plan your meals around them.

3.) Make a list and stick to it. If its not on the list, then just don’t buy it.

4.) Never shop when you are really hungry. That way you wonít be tempted to buy things that you don’t need.

5.) Shop alone. Count on your bill being higher when you bring your spouse or children.

6.) Only buy things you know youíll use. For example, if your family doesnít like broccoli, donít buy broccoli in the hopes that theyíll eat healthier this week.

7.) Keep your eyes on the items on the bottom shelf where the prices are lower.

8.) Buy store brands when the quality is the same. Most of the time, it actually is the same product in a different package.

It is pretty easy to be frugal once you realize how much money youíre actually saving with these simple steps. Keep a log of your grocery bills, so you can see how much of a difference you are making. Have you ever noticed that the things you buy every week at the grocery and hardware stores go up a few cents between shopping trips? Not by much…just by a little each week but they continue to creep up and up.

  • All it takes for the price to jump up by a lot is a little hiccup in the world wide market, note the price of gasoline as it relates to world affairs.

There is a way that we can keep these price increases from impacting our personal finances so much and that is by buying in quantity and finding the best possible prices for the things we use and will continue to use everyday… things that will keep just as well on the shelves in our homes as it does on the shelves at the grocery store or hardware store.

For instance, dog food and cat food costs about 10% less when bought by the case than it does when bought at the single can price and if you wait for close out prices you save a lot more than that. Set aside some space in your home and make a list of things that you use regularly which will not spoil. Any grain or grain products will need to be stored in airtight containers that rats can’t get into so keep that in mind.

Then set out to find the best prices you can get on quantity purchases of such things as bathroom items and dry and canned food. You will be surprised at how much you can save by buying a twenty pound bag of rice as opposed to a one pound bag but don’t forget that it must be kept in a rat proof container.

You can buy some clothing items such as men’s socks and underwear because those styles don’t change, avoid buying children’s and women’s clothing, those styles change and sizes change too drastically. Try to acquire and keep a two year supply of these items and you can save hundreds of dollars.

Which Hair Color Options Look Best With Brown Skin?

Black Hair

Hair coloring is one of the most amazing trends! If you’re looking to renew your look with some type of makeover, why not start with your hair color? The primary concern with most women is not knowing which color to pick for dying their hair. Let’s see where to start, well all the hot magazines usually say it all depends on what your eye color is foremost. What if you have dark brown eyes?  Then lightening your hair would be a great way to accent your eye color. If you have light colored eyes the rule is to keep your hair color darker. The contrast of light and dark give the effect of making your eyes POP!

Other stylists say they prefer to see black hair on darker skin, with maybe a few light brown highlights instead of taking the entire head of hair up to a lighter brown, highlights typically look fantastic and sexy!

I once heard a woman say that no brand of hair dye really works good on black hair because black hair is usually deep black or a dark brown. There are solutions out there though, one may even opt for a rich red color too. Dark hair is may not take most hair color easily especially if you’re going lighter. The sure way to get color to show on dark hair is to lift the color. Most professional salons can help you here. Lightening hair is a lengthy process but the end result is quite nice!

There are brands in the grocery store that you can work with at home for a new look. All colors pretty much work the same except for the darker colors since they are more longer lasting typically. Look for hair color especially made for black hair as a start. However, you never want to grab the first brand you see when you’re in a store. For example, an herbal essence brand may not be a good option since it will probably dry your hair out. Go black, since generally you can expect the hair color brands for black hair to have a good moisturizer in them.

I’ve heard from a couple women that the best brand of hair color to use on black hair is Adore. You can find it at major beauty supplies stores. Considering, your existing hair color you may need to lighten it first with hair peroxide. Usually its number 20 for lightening darker hair or number 10 for lighter hair, Sometimes number 30 peroxide is used but keep in mind the stronger the peroxide, the more damage is done to your hair.

What if you want color but want to just refresh your look but don’t want anything too drastic? Commonly the color brown is seen as more natural, or you could opt for a deep brown which is a brilliant look for complimenting brown skin. If you want to jazz it up a bit use a little red color with it. If you think the color black or dark brown is too dark for your skin completion, I would do light brown and add some chunks of various light brown tones too. Alternately you could do a warm but deep, rich, chocolate brown. Feisty!

Still need some help with choosing a color? Is your hair naturally brown or already dyed? Don’t get too confused with what to do about this future fly hair you’ll soon have! Instead just write down a couple notes if you like and find a couple looks online or offline that you like then take trip to the local hair salon and ask for their honest option. Why do you have to do all this homework? Well, I’m glad you asked.

Hair coloring can really strip your natural hair color. If you want to reduce the damage or have none at all. Seek a professional or follow directions like you’re reading and following a freaking treasure map! Trust me. You really don’t want to damage your hair. You’re goal is to enhance your look, yes!?

Last if u are simply looking for a small change in your appearance, I recommend looking into going with highlights or low lights, you could do wider or thinner lines of color, there are many ways to have it done. One last thing, I heard the brand in most grocery stores called Garnier Nutrisse is superb. They have more dark colors than most brands and their dye has avocado oil in it too, so doesn’t smell so strong. That’s all for now, Keep it simple, have fun with your hair and work it.

Some of The Best Options for Black Hair Color

When you think of all the options out there to dye your hair with you might get confused a bit in the process of it all. After years of practice with hair coloring I’m here to tell you about the good solutions for you to try, but also to tell you what others have said absolutely works like a charm for them.

Changing the color of natural black hair can be quite a task if you don’t know what to look for or what to do. So lets start with some of the better solutions first to get you on track with this hair color transformational thing. One of the most popular products to use for dying your hair to a long lasting color is Clairol Texture and Tones Permanent Hair color, next on the list is Cream of Natures brand of hair color or Dark and Lovely Hair Color. These brands have been on the market for over 20 years at least. You can count on them for predictable results. Many beauticians say these brands are true to bringing out the color that is on the box. In other words what you see is what you get.

Some people still argue that at home hair coloring is not a wonderful idea for newbie hair colorists. Professional stylists often say that it’s safer to get your hair permanently dyed by a beautician. Their reasons for saying this is because of the mistakes that can happen as a result of a person not following directions. For instance if you don’t rinse the hair dye out of your hair all the way or well enough, you could expect to have some possible issues with hair breakage perhaps. In addition no one wants you to get hair color in your eyes or to leave the color solution on your skin for longer than absolutely necessary to do so. Again, professionals know what to do, so its a bit safer to hire someone plus you may need a day off anyway.

The risk of damaging your hair by doing a permanent coloring on your hair at home is higher some might say. So, as a precaution if you prefer not to go to the beautician or you don’t want to pay out the money for one there are still some great options. Let’s say that you don’t know which hair color you want. You could always visit Sally’s beauty supply for Jazzy’s Semi-Permanent Hair Color. There are so many unique colors to choose from too. The nice thing about Jazzy’s is that it’s just temporary so it always washes out after seven shampoos it’s definitely a far healthier solution than the permanent stuff. Jazzy’s is what you would call a ‘color rinse’ so it contains no ammonia or peroxide, but also the color comes out deep and bold.

Pick your colors wisely. You can try out the temporary color before you go to the permanent stuff. That way you wear it for a while then if like the way it looks on you and want the color permanently you can have a beautician dye your hair that color. Be mindful as you choose a color to wear because ‘jet-black’ will be hard to lighten with another color. If you choose a permanent black color just make sure it’s a color you want to wear for a long time.

There are many lovely colors that look good next to brown skin. Some of the colors you should check out are, deep reds, chocolatey browns, light browns or even burgundy colors too. Have fun and no matter what you still look stunning!

Want instant gorgeous hair? Hair extensions could be your answer.

Hair extensions are a procedure available in most hair salons that gives a customer the appearance and experience of lengthier or fuller tresses. The reason this procedure is referenced as “hair extensions” is that synthetic or pure human hair obtained by the beauty shop consumer and is interweaved into the buyer’s all-natural head of hair, and rather close up to the scalp. How to Avoid Having Sagging Breasts

How to Avoid Having Sagging

Breasts As A Young Woman

from wikiHow – The How to Manual That You Can Edit

At any given time, a woman may have issues with the way her breasts look. Simple lifestyle tips combined with proper bra fittings will help anyone look the best they can look.

Steps

Wear a supportive brassiere
Wear a supportive brassiere (bra). The way to look your best and protect the tissue of your breasts is to wear a bra that fits properly.

  1. Have yourself properly fitted. Many women do not wear the correct bra, and they end up with something that doesn’t do its job.
  • Look for a quality store which specializes in bras and foundation items. This can be a department store, specialty shop, or foundation store. These stores employ staff who are knowledgable and stock a wide selection of quality products and bras for harder to fit women.
  • Consult with a professional and have your body properly measured. Many quality lingerie stores and department stores offer this service for free.
  • Feeling shy? That’s normal. Bring a female friend, a relative, or your mother. It’s always nice to have someone at your side for morale support to make you feel comfortable
  • Select the correct bra for your needs.
    • Choose a bra with a wide back strap. The wider the back strap the more support you get in front. This may include bras with 3-6 hooks. You may like the look of a lacy bra with a one hook closure in the back, but it won’t support larger breasts. Fortunately, colorful, lacy, cute, and/or sexy supportive bras can now be found in even the largest sizes.
    • Choose a bra designed to support large breasts. Many companies make structured bras designed to hold larger breasts firmly and comfortably.
    • Wear a supportive sports bra. This is particularly important in sports that have a lot of movement and bouncing, like running, soccer (football), and rugby. Larger breasted woman may need to shop for specialty sportswear online or in catalogs. Though it might be tempting, do not double up with sports bras. There are better options available even for the largest breasted women.

Make sure you are wearing your bra correctly

  1. Put on your bra correctly. Take the proper amount of time to get dressed and be sure your straps are adjusted to your back. Straps tend to move around and get twisted during laundering.
  2. Lean forward when putting on your bra to ensure your chest is centered and perky. Also, make sure the middle of the bra is centered with your body.
  3. Look for the mid-point on your arm and your nipple line should be level with that middle area of your arm. If it is too low you aren’t getting enough support.

Avoid health-related problems with breasts

  1. Consult your physician. He or she might have some ideas that can help, or reassure you that your body is perfectly normal.
  • Your health care specialist may suggest a weight loss plan. It is common for women to gain weight in their chest. Don’t be offended if your doctor puts you on a diet–you can’t escape your genetic code. Your body may store fatty cells in your breast tissue, whereas other woman store it in their hips, thighs, and abdomen.
  • Avoid yo-yo dieting. If you are constantly changing cup sizes, the repeating weight gain and loss will inevitably stretch your breast tissue.
  • Report persistent back pain. You may need supplemental back support or a prescribed custom bra for your needs.

Do not go braless

  1. Avoid going braless. Gravity will inevitably cause your breasts to sag. Going without a bra for extended periods of time will further stretch the breast tissue.

Tips

  • Stop obsessing. There’s nothing wrong with large breasts if they’re put in a flattering, well-fitting bra.
  • Don’t compare yourself to other women. Everybody’s body is different. “Sagging” breasts, for example, are often simply healthy and perfect breasts that need a little support to look and feel their best. That’s just as normal and healthy as women with tiny breasts.
  • Specific back exercises can help alleviate back pain associated with having larger breasts. By strengthening your back muscles, you will be able to support your chest without odd leaning and poor posture. Many women develop their breasts quickly and underdeveloped back muscles may lack the strength necessary to support the growing chest. Make back workouts a frequent part of your workout plan.
  • Work on your posture. Again, while it doesn’t change the breast itself, it will make your chest look even better. Always hold your shoulders back.
  • Launder your bra correctly. A worn bra will not support or protect you correctly. Hand wash or utilize a lingerie bag. Wash your bras in a gentle laundry soap with cold water. Hang to dry or dry flat and don’t expose the bras to the heat of the dryer. The dryer heat will deteriorate the elastic.
  • Buy bras regularly. An average woman’s bra will last 3-6 months under typical use. After that, they start losing support.
  • Lift and separate. Keep your breast lifted and separate with bras and appropriately fitting tops. Don’t squish them together or flatten them down. It won’t flatter you.

Warnings

  • Forget “miracle creams” or “bust breams.” They don’t work and are a waste of money.
  • If you have pendulous breasts, avoid clothing items with little or no support, like spaghetti-top dresses, shelf bra camis, and so on. They won’t look flattering and won’t support you.
  • Consider plastic surgery only in extreme cases. Keep in mind that plastic surgery is real surgery with real risks of mistakes, injury, and death.
