The Appropriation cycle (12pm-8pm ). This is when we should eat the majority of our heavy concentrated foods.

Now your body has the energy required to preformed the vital functions concerning the food you eat. INGEST (EAT)  – DIGEST (BREAK DOWN). This is when we should eat the majority of our HEAVY CONCENTRATED FOODS.

Lunch and dinner fall into this cycle.

This is the time when the body is most efficient at digesting and dealing with foods. It’s also the time when we are burning them up the fastest because we’re at our most active. As long as we are eating according the dictates of our appetite, we should be merrily refuelling and burning, refuelling and burning in a fairly steady and comfortable way, which makes for a really comfortable feeling in the body.Eating when one is truly hungry can take a bit of getting used to, but is far more enjoyable than eating just because the clock dictates it’s lunchtime. And it makes so much sense! 

Lunch is the best convenient to have starch meals at lunch as opposed to protein, Do so – Do not make this difficult.

Just make sure you plan your meals using the BASIC PRINCIPLES OF COMBING HEAVIER CONCENTRATED FOOD (protein or starch) with lighter foods, vegetable and /or salad).

Here are the food combining basics:

  • Starches + Veggies = OK
  • Proteins + Veggies = OK
  • Proteins + Starches = No No
  • Plant Proteins + Plant Proteins = OK
  • Animal Proteins + Animal Proteins = No No
  • Starches + Starches = OK
  • Fats + Proteins (animal or plant) = No No (or pair moderately)
  • Fats + Carbohydrates = OK
  • Fats + Starches = OK
  • Fruits are best eaten on an empty stomach
  • Fruit + Raw greens = OK (except melons)

When you “mis-combine” (mix incompatible food groups together at the same meal), two things happen: first, the food does not digest properly and ends up rotting and putrefying in your stomach, and second, because the food isn’t being absorbed properly, you don’t get the nutritional value you need from it.

When you mis-combine your meals by mixing animal protein with, say, carbohydrates high in starch (Maxi Carbs), your stomach begins pouring in both alkaline and acid, and unfortunately they neutralize each other. It’s a stalemate, and since the stomach maintains a 104 degree temperature, what you end up with is sort of an “oven” where the undigested meat and starch begins to ferment, rot and putrefy, causing the undesirable symptoms of gas, flatulence, headaches, bloat, sleepiness, diarrhea, constipation, etc. We’re talking about a real mess, and if it continues over the years, undigested food will begin to pile up and ultimately clog your colon and intestinal tract (your life lines to health).

 

WE ALL MUST BECOME MORE ACCEPTING OF THE FACT THAT…..WE DO NOT HAVE TO EAT MEAT AT EVERY MEAL……..WORK WITH THE PROGRAM AND THE PROGRAM WILL WORK FOR YOU.

 

Breaking your fast during the body’s elimination cycle (4am-12pm).

At the beginning of the day, after sleep, your body is breaking a fast. During the time while you sleep, you are fasting. After waking, the first meal consumed will break the fast. Break-fast should be sensitive to the rest and cleansing that the fast provided to your body. You should not consume anything heavy at this time. Instead, the first thing that you should consume is a glass of water at room temperature with fresh squeeze lemon juice, a period of 15-30 min should be allowed so that the lemon water can do its function. This should be followed by fresh-squeezed/fresh-pressed fruit juice or fresh seasonal fruit. This is what your body needs at this time of day and what is easiest on the digestive system. The juice lubricates your system and allows it to function optimally.

Elimination cycle (4am-12pm).This is the time when your body would like to direct most of its energy to the work of cleansing toxins from your body. To not interrupt this work, light eating is the best choice now , as the best way to break your fast (BREAKFAST). This does not mean a cup of coffee (regular or decaf) and a donut . By light I mean eating the lightest, most perfect food.. Fruit and Fruit Juices  (diluted with  water is best for most) You see, fruits does not diget in your stomach. In fact, fruit goes through the stomach and directly to your small intestines. In this way, there is no diversion of energy from the body’s work of eliminating being used fordigestion of food. You see. when a heavy traditional breakfast is eaten ( eggs, potatoes, grits, bacon, toast, biscuits, waffles, pancakes, french toast, etc), it takes energy away from eliminating  toxins and uses it for digestion of foods just eaten, and proper ELIMINATION IS NEVER ACHIEVED. 

 

The ideal elimination pattern. Three to five bowel eliminations daily — once upon rising, one after each meal, one before retiring. When this pattern is not the norm ( and for most, it i not), then over time, it can take its tool on the body. Eating fruit and drinking fruit juices in the morning (especially the ripe, juicy ones), can provide an easily absorbed food, high in vitamins and minerals. You have also employed the greatest cleanser for your body, as they help to dissolve the often old accumulation of mucus and waste that is along the intestinal walls ( this include small intestines and colon). For some, eating fruits only  in the morning may take a while to get used to. Do the best you can. Eat the amount of fruit and/or juice to make you comfortably full. If  you feel hungry later in the morning, you can have bananas, granola, bran muffins (made with natural sweeteners), or whole grain toast. Keep in mind your objective is to adjust to ONLY FRUIT AND/OR DILUTED FRUIT JUICES IN THE MORNING.

*Fresh squeezed or pressed fruit and vegetable juices are meals in themselves and one of the quickest and most expedient means of consuming the whole nutrient the body needs. Bottled and canned juices are not fresh. Many of them have been pasteurized (subjected to extreme heat), diluted, reconstituted and/or have additives, artificial colors, artificial flavors and preservatives added. They are completely devoid of the digestive enzymes that are vital to your body needs.

There are many reasons you should to hold onto your memory.

First, keep your attention focused on the information that will be stored in your memory bank. Even with distractions around you, stay focused on the subject. The more concentrated you are on the information you’re taking in, the better the chances of retaining it in your memory.

Preserving the memory is an essential part of the brain’s functionality.

Often, our actions definitely depend on the info we have collected in our memory bank. This information is classified as either short term or long term. Although long-term memory may come automatically without too much effort when the need arises, short-term memory requires recalling information from the accumulation of things stored in our memory.

Utilize the most ideal sense or senses when gathering the information.

This what we call acuity in sensing our environment. Be aware of the color or details of a picture, or the particular sound or smell of the thing involved. All our bodily senses are attuned to collect information depending on the circumstance at hand. While our sense of vision may be the most used in gathering information, our senses of hearing, smell, taste, and touch are equally important and helpful in remembering things, situations, and information about something or someone.

Take Notes

When you’re not sure if the information you are about to take in will be retained by your brain, then its a good practice to write the information. Writing notes is especially effective in pulling together long, tedious information such as lectures or interview notes.

Maintain a balance diet.

A well-proportioned diet will result to a conditioned memory. Excessive oily foods may block the memory, studies show. If you cannot eliminate a bad diet, gradually cut down your intake of these memory-inhibiting foods. This is not only beneficial to the memory, but it changing your diet to a balancing one will lead to a more fulfilling life too.

WATER.

Drinking lots of water brings so many advantages to your overall health, especially since the body is mostly made up of water anyway. Think of waters effect on your brain like this: The brains texture is soft and fleshy right? But what would happen if you didn’t drink the right amount of water overtime? Your brain may not have the same softness perhaps, and who wants a hard brain with no moisture in it? lol. I don’t know about you but it doesn’t sound to healthy to me.

Love your sleep.

Make sure you get some sleep. Getting adequate sleep does not cause laziness; but over sleeping does. Never feel guilty laying back or sleeping as long as it is not excessive you’re doing what’s natural to stay healthy. Get regular sleep to keep you recharged daily.

Relax.

Breathe deeply. Organize your thoughts before moving on them. Just say no to stress and anxiety. It may be impossible to completely eliminate stress since it is part of our challenging generation, but try to keep it down as much as possible. Stress may bring your memory into its inefficient level. Avoid saying to yourself: You might forget things, because you don’t have to. Forgetting is often a choice. There’s no need to assume you will forget anything. You just have to give your brain what it needs.

Stay positive, creative, and energetic.

Your memory needs to be within a circle of various creative things. Things that come in various shapes, sizes, and colors can motivate your creativity. This is a positive way of discovering your surroundings in all its variations and diversities. Get out and get some fresh air! Get off the bench. Build your memory through constant interactions with good people.

Learn from the children

The very best way to improve your memory is between infancy and adolescent. As we grow old, memory starts to fail if you don’t work to keep your brain working efficiently. But a strong memory can develop during the prime years of our lives too. This can be done by continuously exercising our memory through reading and other cognitive activities like solving crossword puzzles. The more you do brain power exercises, the better memory retention is developed.

Keep your health up

High blood pressure can lead to stroke and heart ailments. Blood pressure problems can also lead to poor retention of memory. Its a well known fact that your memory function declines when blood pressure is high. Health officials have discovered that middle-aged people with a balanced blood pressure, experience higher cognitive functions.

Health is wealth!

It’s important to remember that whatever is healthy for the body, also nourishes the brain and in turn preserves the memory too. Your memory can stay with you forever with the right combination of exercise, nutrition, meditation and reading for instance, honestly anything is possible. Things such as: concentration, decision-making, and remembering functions fall short as a result of high blood pressure. Balance is the key to keeping your memory sharp well into old age!

With the year 2012 in full swing you’re sure to feel some changes within you. More than ever people are making life changing decisions. The reason for the take -action -now- movement  is probably because 2012 is the year of the Dragon the year of expansion, change and inner transformation. You may have seen dragons at work in movies but not this lifetime. From what you can see on film from you comfortable seat in front of the movie or tv screen, I’m sure you’ll agree that dragons are dynamic in their movement. So being that this is the year of the dragon in chinese astrology anyway, this year is fast-moving and full of fire.

Most people are experiencing changes both within themselves, also in their environments too. Last year was the year of the rabbit. Reflect back to last year to see what the energy was last year. Compare the energy of last year to this year. Quite honestly last year was a year that was just right for meditation and personal transformation work. This year one has to work a bit harder to stay on point with their inner work. But with all this fiery movement going on around us, how can you stay on your inner grind?

Triumph of tapping the inner you takes place by adhering to a plan. What is this plan? The plan is one that you create with your goals and future in mind. If you want to conquer your dreams you have to work for it. How will you keep your mind from drifting while you’re working? You should give the body exactly what it wants. In this way the body gets to drift and relax (go into the zone)

People are feeling a bit ‘out of their body’. You may have had revelations about your past or future in ways that you can’t seem to put into words now. Well you should certainly look into meditation, deep breathing and some form of life force cultivation exercise too. A couple of life force cultivation exercise types are Tai Qi, Qi Gong, Yoga, and Martial Arts too. I you took just a small part of your day to schedule a special time just to do inner work for your body, spirit and mind, you will give yourself the best of both worlds. Once you finish your schedule in the evening or morning then head off to work, then you would have taken care of the inside stuff before tending to your external duties. This way you feel complete and fulfilled regardless of what comes to your mind while you’re working. The fact that you have bills pay means that you cannot go too deep into the mental zone without possibly getting yourself into trouble because of not being present at work. The boss would certainly not agree with you coming into work to do meditations and day dreaming about your life or even better ‘what’s life on Mars like’.

So you see how just a few minutes a day can take you into a more peaceful place but only by using your desire to be balanced then planning your time to accommodate your mission. The benefits of adding a relaxing daily regimen are almost unlimited in how they will give back to you. You have to take the first step and be honest with yourself. Look at your life in all its colors, textures then  listen to the feed back of your heart. What should you do differently to get to the next day with more peace and more answers to the discovery of who you are? It’s not enough to simply plan, with planning next comes action. Lay out exactly what you will use during your inner work. Do you need meditation music, a yoga mat, special clothing, shoes etc.

Whatever you need to be ready to relax, its most important to have those things ready as soon as you spring from your bed or walk into the door. Repetition is the key to conquering your dreams. Once you do your routine for at least 21 days, your new regimen will be a habit to your body. After 21 days you will feel the difference when you do your routine. In fact ,when you get up or come home you will notice that you almost mechanically jump right into action without any opposing thoughts from your mind. Enjoy your healing work. Relax. Balance is your birth right!

Deliciously Healthy Tofu Scramble

 

 

 Ingredients

 

12oz firm tofu  block of extra firm tofu (plain)

2 Tbs of nutritional yeast

2 slices of sprouted grain bread (toasted)

2 Tablespoons of vegan butter, olive oil or safflower oil

1/4 cup bell pepper/red pepper/yellow pepper

2 tablespoon of freshly diced onion

1 half teaspoon small tomato crushed or diced

1/4 teaspoon-garlic power or 1 clove diced

1/4 teaspoon-salt

2 pinches of pepper

a dash of cayenne pepper

a couple dashes of thyme

1/2 teaspoons italian seasoning

1 tablespoon-turmeric

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon ground coriander

2 cups washed baby spinach leaves

 

In a medium bowl slice the tofu into approximately one inch cubes, Then, using either your hands or a fork, crumble it slightly. Saute crumbled tofu, green pepper, onion plus (optional garlic clove) in the 2 Tablespoon of oil for 3-5 minutes, stirring often. Add the remaining ingredients, reduce heat to medium and allow to cook 5-7 more minutes, then add toasted pieces of bread by crumbling in hands over the simmering tofu, last thing, add the crushed half of tomato to tofu stirring frequently and adding more oil if needed. Saute about 2 minutes and remove from heat and serve.

 

Serve with a dairy free warm tortilla or sprouted bread with jam and vegan butter, olive or coconut oil.

In the process of preparing a meal there is a special opportunity to infuse nutrients inside the food with love. I call this Energetic Cooking since you’re using energy and intent on the food. This one step can transform  a stagnant household in minutes! The truth is- even when someone feels there is nothing they can do to assist in the nurturing of another. We can always do something to help someone.

Kunzite: Kunzite gemstone opens the heart to all forms of love.

A member of the Spodumene family with lithium. Pink, clear in color (the green version is called Hiddenite).  Kunzite is a pink to lilac colored gemstone, a variety of spodumene with the color coming from minor to trace amounts of manganese. Some (but not all) kunzite used for gemstones has been heated to enhance its color. It is also frequently irradiated to enhance the color. Many kunzites fade when exposed to sunlight which is why it is dubbed the evening stone.

Kunzite was discovered in 1902, and was named after George Frederick Kunz, Tiffany & Co‘s chief jeweler at the time, and a noted mineralogist. It has been found in Brazil, USA, Canada, CIS, Mexico, Sweden, Western Australia, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Spodumene was discovered in 1877 in Brazil, although it was not until 1879 that kunzite and hiddenite were recognized as different varieties of the same mineral. Spodumene is also found in Madagascar, Myanmar, the USA, Canada, the former USSR, Mexico and Sweden.  One notable example of kunzite used in jewellery is in the Russian Palmette tiara and necklace worn by the Duchess of Gloucester.

Kunzite should be worn in direct contact with the skin for it’s most favorable healing qualities. To relieve pain it should be placed directly on the affected area. How to clean your Gemstones

There are many ways to cleanse a gemstone. My preferred ways methods are to blow on them, use my hands and energize them then sweep the unwanted energy out into the air and towards the window, lastly i always put certain crystals in the window sill so they can recharge in the sunlight and moonlight..i’ll leave the ones i plan on not wearing for a month or so in there. Yes, it may be a long time to some people but if you take only the gems you won’t use for a while to put into the window to charge..you will forget about them for a while.

One simple way to cleanse a gemstone is to run cold water and hold the stone in your hands while water run over and through your cupped hands. You can also place your stone in the ocean to clean it, this method is beneficial since, salt water is very healing and purifying. I have heard some people bury a crystal as well. Placing a gemstone in soil sounds so organic. Of course those who know me, know how organic i like like to be. However, If you choose this method to cleanse your gemstones, please mark the ground where you place your stone. you certainly do not want to misplace it! Not a good idea, right… Exactly what i was thinking. So there is another way to bury a stone, it just came to me. You can use a flower pot with soil in it..Or even better use a pot with a plant in it and place some stones around the plant. I do this one and my plants grow very healthy too. Some crystals will want to stay in the soil with the plants. You will be able to tell if you should remove the crystal or not, by what you intuitively feel about it.

Plants and crystals can communicate with us. Yes its true. Anyway, I will save that information for another time. That’s definitely worth writing another blog post about. Another cool way to cleanse a gemstone is to do a meditation while holding your stones, then visualize running them through a fire. Be careful not to burn yourself during your visualization. Your meditation should feel good! OK Alright, i think we covered all the popular gemstone cleansing methods. Now we have covered cleansing gems with the 4 elements: earth, air, fire and water. There is just one more way you can cleanse your gems. HA! You can use the 5th element. What the heck is that you ask? Well you can use your third eye. Place a gemstone at your third eye and reset the gemstone back to clear. The third eye is localized in the pituitary body and the pineal gland. It is located at the point between the eyebrows. The third eye point expands up to the middle of the forehead when opened. Cleansing method and time depend on you. Some people say that darker stones should be cleansed for a longer period of time. Some say once a week is  sufficient for all stones that are worn on a regular basis. Crystals should be cleansed at some point, no matter which method you choose. People often wonder why gemstones need cleaning, they are in the atmosphere where they pick up energy, which is always traveling between everything. Gemstones can pick up anything in a room or space. Lepidolite was discovered in the eigtheenth century and was originally known as lilalite (from the Hindu word ‘lila’ meaning play, game).  Scientists eventually renamed the stone lepidolite, from the Greek lepidos ‘scale’ and lithos ‘stone’.

Only found in regions where dikes of this type are exposed, as in New England, particularly in Maine, and at Portland, Connecticut, and San Diego County, California. Well-formed crystals up to an inch or more across are found at Auburn, Maine. Fine-grained aggregates are common in many Maine localities, and are associated with microlite at Dixon, New Mexico. The coarsest crystals form bladed aggregates at Ohio City, Colorado. Foreign localities include: Minas Gerais, Brazil; Madagascar; VarUtrask, Sweden; Southwest Africa; Western Australia; Ural Mountains, Russia and Germany.
